Support Alessandra in Denver

Alessandra Sabra is currently raising support to begin a two-year ministry apprenticeship, where she will serve alongside the Heights staff with the incoming refugee population in Denver, while training for future ministry.

Alessandra was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She moved to the United States for college and later attended law school where she found her passion for immigration law.

Alessandra was raised in a Catholic household but distanced herself from God toward the beginning of college and throughout law school. She found herself chasing what the world had to offer, which led her into a life of abuse and darkness. When she felt at her lowest, God made Himself known to her, rescued her, and called her into His beautiful light.

After being saved, Alessandra found The Heights Church where she learned about discipleship, life in community, and better understood the love of Jesus.

Over the last few months, Alessandra has felt a call to go to seminary and serve in ministry. She is excited to join The Heights team this fall as an Apprentice where she will join her love for the Lord and her work as a lawyer in ministering to refugees and helping people become fully-devoted followers of Jesus.
