Join us on Sunday

Every Sunday at 9:00am, 10:45am, & 4:30pm

Sunday services are the primary way that we gather together as a church. During these gatherings we sing, read scripture, listen to teaching, spend time in prayer, and take part in communion together. For almost 2,000 years, the weekly gathering of Christians has been the center of life within the church.

Regardless of where you are, or whether or not you consider yourself a Christian, you are welcome to join us! You can belong before you believe.

What to Expect

We know that walking into a church for the first time can be an intimidating thing, so we want to make sure that you’re prepared for what will happen when you visit us on a Sunday. Keep scrolling down this page to get an idea of what your experience will be like at The Heights.

We believe that one of the primary ways that we respond to the goodness and glory of God is through singing. During the service we sing 3-5 songs that remind us of God’s love for us, his awe-inspiring work in the world, and the new life that we have in Jesus.

Passionate Worship

Bible Teaching

We believe that the Bible is God’s actual words for us — and that there is an infinite source of life to be found in it! That’s why every Sunday we go to the Word of God for a word from God. We read a passage of the Bible and then listen to a 40 minute teaching on what we read.

At The Heights, we believe that obedience is more important than resonance. What that means is that we don’t want to just resonate with the gathering (meaning, let it make us feel good), but we want to respond in obedience. We respond to worship and Bible teaching through 1) prayer for one another, 2) practicing generosity, and 3) taking holy communion.

Prayer and Response

The Heights Kids

One thing that is clear in the the Gospels is that Jesus loves and cares deeply about kids. We believe that kids fully belong here right now, not just when they become adults. If you are a parent, you can expect your kid to learn about God, make a friend, and experience the value and dignity that they deserve.
