Support Lauren in Denver
Lauren is currently raising support to begin a two-year ministry apprenticeship, where she will serve alongside the Heights staff in missions and assimilation, while training to be in ministry.
While studying nursing at Texas A&M University, Lauren’s life was transformed as she came to know the indescribable depth of the Lord’s love for her. She experienced firsthand the Lord’s relentless and loving pursuit of the lost, she learned of His character, and grew to realize how wildly worthy He is of her life and her devotion. She immersed herself in the lively community of believers at Texas A&M, and found serving in ministry to be among the greatest joys she’d ever known. She led bible studies, learned what it meant to be discipled, and began learning how to disciple others. She found her college ministry to be her second home, and found serving others to be the very thing that made her heart beat.
As her time at Texas A&M came to a close, she transitioned into her career as a NICU nurse. While she cherished the moments spent caring for the little ones and their families, she found her heart longing to care for not only the physical needs of others, but the spiritual needs as well. She’s since felt the kindness of the Lord grab her hand, and graciously lead her towards something new; one in which she she can continue serving and meeting the needs of others, but this time both the physical and spiritual.
