Support Collissa in Denver

Collissa Grunden is currently raising support to begin a ministry apprenticeship, where she will serve alongside The Heights staff to help build The Heights College.

Collissa grew up in Troy, Ohio, and took a leap of faith to move to Phoenix, Arizona, to attend Grand Canyon University (GCU). It was during her college years that the Lord deeply transformed her life and clarified her calling to ministry.

Until 2019, Collissa had never known God personally. During a season of loneliness, identity struggles, and deep desperation, she cried out and asked Him to reveal Himself. In that moment, He met her personally, revealing His presence in a way she had never known. Her immediate thought was, “I never knew that a love like this existed.” Since then, her life has been marked by a deep love for Jesus and a passion to see others experience the same freedom and healing she found in Him.

During her time at GCU, the Lord placed a specific calling on her heart for young adult women. Her heart is to love women, walk alongside them, and help them discover their identity and freedom in Christ. Collissa has served as a small group team lead, prayer team leader, and connect team leader, personally discipling women and witnessing the Holy Spirit transform lives. Although she never planned to move to Denver, when the Lord called her, His invitation was undeniable. Collissa’s greatest desire is to see women walk in freedom and lives transformed from death to life. She is grateful for the opportunity to follow God’s call and for those who come alongside her in prayer and partnership as she joins His work in Denver.
