Support Grant in Denver
Grant is currently raising support to begin a two-year ministry apprenticeship, where he will serve alongside the Heights staff in Missions and Discipleship while training to be a pastor.
Grant grew up in Taiwan in a Christian family with a rich heritage of missions. Though introduced to God at a young age, God was always a fallback and held at a distance.
After graduating from high school in Taichung, Taiwan, Grant moved to the Denver area to play soccer at Colorado Christian University. Life on his own terms led Grant into a season of longing for purpose, hope, and meaningful relationships. He called out to the God he had observed in the lives of his family, and God met Grant powerfully in his word and through prayer. Receiving peace and a deep sense of purpose and joy, Grant privately began to experience a reality that had to be shared. This newfound love transformed every part of his life.
Growing in this new life, Grant served in leadership roles within his soccer team at CCU and the larger student-athlete body on campus with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
After graduating, Grant began working in the Denver area but sensed the Lord was drawing him toward pursuing ministry. God opened the door to attend Cornerstone Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After getting married to his wife, Madelyn, he began his studies.
God has continued to faithfully refine and lead Grant and Madelyn, bringing them back to the church community and city they love in Denver. They are humbled to be called into serving Jesus Christ for the renewal of our city and the nations.
