Support Riley in Denver
Riley Rubio is currently raising support to begin a two-year ministry apprenticeship, where she will serve alongside The Heights staff in Women’s Ministry and Connect while training for future ministry.
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Riley attended Florida State University, where she earned her degree in Business. She spent the last five years working in consulting, supporting leaders and teams through seasons of growth and change.
Although Riley knew about God throughout her life, she did not truly understand what it meant for Jesus to be Lord of her life. She spent many years relying on herself and believing she could keep everything together on her own. When she moved to Colorado, her plan was to simply find herself in nature - but God had better plans.
Riley opened the Bible for the first time on her own two years ago and gave her life to Jesus. Riley has always had a heart for women and the power of authentic community, but it was over the last year that God began to clearly reveal a calling in ministry.
Trusting the Lord, Riley is taking a leap of faith to leave the marketplace and pursue the Apprenticeship at The Heights. What began as a personal journey of faith has grown into a calling to help others encounter the love and transforming power of Jesus.
She is excited to see how God will use this next season to grow her, equip her, and create opportunities to share the gospel in Denver—one of the most secular cities in America.
