Baptism Sunday is August 9th.
Let us help you take that step!
In the New Testament, every follower of Jesus is baptized after making the decision to become a Christian.
If you are a follower of Jesus and have not been Baptized, we want to help you take that step on August 9th.
Questions about Baptism?
-
Yes — please invite them! They're welcome to attend the service where you get baptized and celebrate with you. There will also be a livestream available for family and friends who are not able to attend in-person.
-
Please come to church wearing the clothes you want to get baptized in. We recommend wearing black shorts or leggings. You should plan to bring a change of outfit for after your baptism takes place. We will provide a black "Jesus in my place" t-shirt (yours to keep), a towel, and a printed version of your testimony.
-
We ask that you pick a family member or friend to read your testimony. You can also have a staff member read for you.
-
We are doing a special Baptism service on August 9th, however we typically do it every 4–6 weeks at The Heights.
-
If your child has expressed faith in Jesus, we believe their next step is to go public with their faith through baptism! Pick up a copy of "Baptism for Kids" in the Heights Kids space then email Haley@theheightsdenver.com to schedule a time to talk about baptism with you, your child, and Haley!

Baptism is a step that should be taken after someone has placed their faith in Jesus and made Him the Lord of their lives. If you had not placed your faith in Jesus or were baptized as an infant, then being baptized again is your next step!
Talk to Someone About Being Baptized
One of the first things that followers of Jesus do in the New Testament is obey His command to be baptized. We believe all Christians are called to take this step of obedience. If you’d like to talk with someone about baptism or have questions, please fill out the form below. We’d love to help you decide if baptism is the right next step for you.
