Connect Class
March 15
Are you new to The Heights? Have you been coming for a while but want to get more connected here? Connect Class is THE way to get connected to life here at The Heights. In this short, one-hour class, we will go over what we believe, how you can belong, and what spaces we have available for you to grow as a disciple of Jesus. A meal and childcare are always provided. When you register, please select the AM Connect Class if you are attending after the 10:45am service, and select the PM Connect Class if you are attending after the 5:45pm service.
Lovewell February Donation Drive
Help meet the practical needs of our unhoused neighbors by stocking the Lovewell Store, where members can use points to purchase items they need. All donations can be placed in the bins in the lobby during the month of February.
Items can be purchased locally or through our Amazon wishlist.
Alpha
Mondays starting February 23 - 6:30-8:30pm
Alpha is a 9-week film and dinner series followed by group conversations designed for those who would not identify as Christians and are interested in exploring life, spirituality, and faith through a Christian lens in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. If you’re an atheist, skeptic, or just curious about faith, bring your thoughts to the discussion group and explore questions of life with new friends.
We would love for you to invite your friends to Alpha who are close to you, but far from God. Feel free to sign up to attend with them!
Solemn Assembly
Friday, February 27 from 7-9pm
“Announce a sacred fast; proclaim a solemn assembly… and cry out to the Lord.” Joel 1:14
We’re gathering as a church family for a solemn assembly of prayer. This will be a night to seek God and intercede for our church and our city. Be sure to put it on your calendar. We’d love for you to join us.
Formation Church Interest Meeting
Sunday, March 1 at 1:30pm
We’re excited to support Mauri Villasenor as he plants Formation Church in Green Valley Ranch, a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church where people can find community, identity, and purpose in Jesus.
If you’ve been driving across town, sensing a call to church planting, or desiring to reach people in Northeast Denver, join us in The Heights lobby on March 1 at 1:30pm to hear the vision and see if this is your next step.
Baptism
Sunday, March 22
One of the first things that followers of Jesus do in the New Testament is obey His command to be baptized. We believe all Christians are called to take this step of obedience. If you’d like to talk with someone about baptism or have questions, please click the link to let us know. We’d love to help you decide if baptism is the right next step for you.
